All calculations use your local timezone and datetime-local inputs.
1) Set the Offset (Choose one: calculate OR manual)
How to use: Calculate the offset by entering the DVR’s shown time and the correct time, or manually enter a known offset using ±HH:MM:SS. The current offset is saved for Sections 2 & 3.
Example: DVR shows 2025-08-15 13:22, correct time is 2025-08-15 13:57 → offset is +00:35:00 (DVR is 35 minutes slow).
Current offset: none set

2) Correct a DVR Video Time
How to use: Enter the DVR timestamp seen in the footage. The saved offset is applied to show the real-world time.
Example: Offset is +00:35:00 and DVR shows 2025-08-15 12:10 → Correct real time is 2025-08-15 12:45.

3) Find DVR Time to Review
How to use: Enter the known real-world time of an event (e.g., from CAD, BWC, 911). The tool applies the saved offset in reverse to tell you which DVR time to scrub to.
Example: Offset is +00:35:00 and real event is 2025-08-15 14:00 → Check the DVR at 2025-08-15 13:25.
